Subscription Terms

Last updated: 21st April 2026

These Subscription Terms apply to the website subscription services provided by Milk and Honey ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader. By signing up to one of our subscription plans, you agree to these Subscription Terms. Contact: hello@milkandhoney.tech.

1. Our Services

We provide subscription-based website design, development, update, and support services. Subscription pricing is not published at a fixed rate. All subscription arrangements are agreed individually with each client based on their specific requirements, scope, and circumstances. The pricing, deliverables, and terms of your subscription will be confirmed in writing before any work begins.

2. Minimum Term

Each subscription is entered into for a fixed minimum term of 12 months. By signing up, you agree to pay the monthly subscription fee for the full 12-month minimum term, subject only to any cancellation rights set out in these terms.

3. End of Term and Renewal

Your subscription runs for an initial fixed term of 12 months. It does not renew automatically. We aim to contact you at around 11 months to discuss whether you would like to continue for a further term. Any renewal, extension, or new term must be expressly agreed between both parties. If no new agreement is reached before the end of the 12-month term, the subscription will end at the end of that term. We may keep the website live for a grace period of up to 7 days after the term ends, after which the service may be suspended or taken offline.

4. Payment

Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance through Stripe. You must ensure that your payment details remain valid and up to date throughout the subscription term.

5. Failed Payments

If a monthly payment fails, we will contact you using the contact details you have provided. A 14-day period will begin from the date payment was due. During that period, you must make the missed payment and ensure future payments can be collected successfully. If payment is not received within that 14-day period, we may suspend work and support, suspend or remove the website from public access, and/or terminate the subscription. Termination for non-payment does not remove your obligation to pay any outstanding sums due under the minimum term, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

6. Requests and Turnaround Times

We do not impose a fixed limit on normal update requests, but all requests are subject to reasonable use and scheduling. Page changes: where a request is received before 3:00pm on the previous working day, we aim to complete page changes by the next working day. New pages, substantial structural changes, or large new event builds: where a request is received before 3:00pm on Wednesday, we aim to complete such work by the end of that working week. All turnaround times are targets, not guarantees.

7. Scope of Service

Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, the subscription does not include third-party software, plugins, external paid licences, or custom third-party software procurement. We are not automatically responsible for providing or purchasing a domain name for your website. If we purchase a domain on your behalf, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the domain will be owned and controlled by us and will remain linked to the subscription service.

8. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All websites, designs, layouts, systems, templates, code blocks, internal frameworks, and related materials created or used by us as part of the subscription remain our property unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. You do not acquire ownership of the finished website, the design, the underlying code, our systems, templates, code blocks, or internal framework.

9. What Happens if the Subscription Ends

If your subscription ends for any reason, your website may be suspended or taken offline; support and update services will stop; and any domain controlled by us for the subscription may also be withdrawn from use. Unless we separately agree in writing, we are not obliged to transfer the website, design files, code, hosting setup, or domain to you at the end of the subscription.

10. Your Right to Cancel Within 14 Days

If you are entitled by law to a cooling-off period, you may cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract. If you cancel within that 14-day period, any money paid will be refunded. To cancel, contact us at hello@milkandhoney.tech before the end of the 14-day period.

11. Refunds

After the 14-day cancellation period has passed, no refunds will be given. This includes where you choose to stop using the service, you ask to cancel before the end of the 12-month minimum term, or we suspend or terminate the service because of your breach of these terms.

12. Early Cancellation by You

Because each subscription has a 12-month minimum term, if you choose to cancel before the end of that term, you remain responsible for paying the subscription fees due for the remainder of the 12-month term.

13. Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your subscription immediately, or on notice, if you fail to make payment on time; you abuse, threaten, harass, or mistreat us; you use the service for unlawful, misleading, offensive, or harmful material; or continuing the service would place us at legal, reputational, technical, or operational risk.

14. Communication

You agree that we may contact you by email regarding service updates, payment issues, end-of-term contact, renewal discussions, and notices under these terms. It is your responsibility to ensure that your contact details remain accurate and up to date.

15. Liability

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or loss caused by third-party services, domain providers, hosting providers, payment processors, or platform outages outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

16. Governing Law

These Subscription Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
